Fire Station #1

Gothard Station

Gothard fire station opened in 1971.  It  is located in the center of the City and serves the Oakview area, Five Points, and Central Park.  Station 1-Gothard is located adjacent to the Central Net Training Center, which is a multi-agency training facility used by the cities of Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach.

Fire Station #2

Murdy Station

16221 Gothard Street

Huntington Beach, CA  92647

 

 

Murdy fire station opened in 1971 and is similar in design and construction to Fire Station 1-Gothard.  It is located in the northeast portion of the City and serves the area around Bella Terra Mall, Golden West College, and the San Diego Freeway.

·        Emergency Transport 42 

 

Fire Station #3

Bushard Station

Bushard fire station opened in 1964 and was remodeled in 2002.  It serves the residential areas bordering Fountain Valley.  There are several large multi-family complexes and retail centers in this response area.

Fire Station #4

Magnolia Station

21441 Magnolia Street

Huntington Beach, CA  92646

 

Magnolia fire station opened in 1973 and serves the southeast portion of the City.  It covers the Huntington State Beach area, the Orange County Sanitation Plant, and the Edison Steam Plant (AERA).

Fire Station #5

Lake Station

530 Lake Street

Huntington Beach, CA  92648

 

Lake fire station opened in 1981 and serves the downtown area, as well as the City beach and pier.  It is the City's only two-story station and includes a fire pole.

Fire Station #6

Edwards Station

Huntington Beach, CA  92647

 

Edwards fire station opened in 2001 and serves the Seacliff area.  The firefighters of Edwards Station man a Hazardous Materials unit and a paramedic engine depending on the response.

·        Emergency Transport 46

 

Fire Station #7

Warner Station

3831 Warner Avenue

Huntington Beach, CA  92649

 

Warner station opened in 1977 and serves the Huntington Harbor area, as well as the Bolsa Chica State Beach.  The Marine Safety Department shares a portion of the facility and docks their rescue boats in the harbor behind the fire station.

Fire Station #8

Heil Station

5891 Heil Avenue

Huntington Beach, CA  92647

 

Heil station is the City’s oldest active fire station and it serves the north part of the City, including the large industrial area.  It was opened in 1964.
