The 3rd Battalion 1st Marines recently gathered for their 3rd Biennial Reunion. This reunion started out as the Fallujah Reunion but was soon opened up to all 3/1 Marines. Marines that fought at Peleliu, Okinawa, The Chosin Reservoir, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan participated. The pictured are former and current Huntington Beach Fire Personnel that volunteered their time to be “designated drivers” from the host Hotel to the Officers Club House on Camp Pendleton. Needless to say, the Marines and their families were very appreciative of the Huntington Beach Fire Department continued support.
